Recently appointed Walker Glass President and CEO Randy Brooks announced two new vice president positions and a senior team promotion.
The promotions
Marc Deschamps has been promoted to vice president, products and business development. A Walker veteran of 27 years, Deschamps has built Walker’s architectural team, as well as its product management structure. Deschamps has also been a long-time contributing member of the National Glass Association. Deschamps will oversee product and architectural management functions across Walker and its sister company, Gardner Glass Products.
Brooks also promoted Angelo Grippo to vice president, R&D and technical services. He will manage corporate projects as well as research and development programs in the areas of process and product development.
Although he is a relative newcomer as an employee, Grippo has worked closely with Walker’s senior management team for many years as a technical process manufacturing consultant.
Charles Alexander has been promoted to senior vice president, sales and marketing. Alexander joined Walker in 2017, managing the company’s marketing and business development teams. In this new position, he will oversee sales and marketing for both Walker and Gardner as they continue to integrate and optimize resources. He and Deschamps will work closely with Brooks on strategic growth initiatives.
What Brooks says
“I am very excited to announce these new senior management roles within the organization. Each of these gentlemen will play a key role as we expand our offering and market presence in every corner of North America, all with the goal of continuing our leadership position in the mirror, acid-etch, and bird-friendly spaces,” says Brooks.
