Apogee Architectural Metals has named David Bellomo and Cortney Hahr as direct sales representatives for Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico and Arizona. They join the company’s Southwest sales team.
Based in Colorado, Bellomo and Hahr report to Apogee Architectural Metals’ Southwest region sales manager, Hanna Potthast. The team represents the company’s portfolio of EFCO, Tubelite and Wausau Window architectural aluminum products. Together, they assist customers in selecting and specifying architectural aluminum window, curtain wall, storefront and entrance systems for commercial building projects.
Bellomo and Hahr bring experience in architectural building products, commercial construction, technical sales and customer relationship management. Their combined backgrounds include working closely with architects, glazing contractors, general contractors, developers and manufacturers throughout the Rocky Mountain region and across the United States
Bellomo's experience
Bellomo draws from more than 20 years of commercial building products and sales experience, with a significant portion of his career focused on architectural aluminum systems and the Rocky Mountain market. During eight years as an architectural sales representative with Kawneer, he managed commercial sales across Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico and other states.
His experience also includes regional sales leadership for architectural building product manufacturers, where he developed relationships with architectural firms, developers, general contractors and installers. Assisting with their continuing education, he has delivered product training and AIA-accredited presentations.
Hahr's experience
Hahr’s technical sales experience in architectural glass and façade systems, includes curtain wall, window wall and storefront applications. Her background also includes experience with high-performance architectural glass with an emphasis on acoustic and thermal performance.
Most recently in the architectural building products industry, she served as a technical sales representative at glazing contractor JR Butler, working with national architectural firms, general contractors and glazing subcontractors. In this role, she assisted customers from product specification through preconstruction, and delivered AIA-accredited continuing education presentations.
