CRL introduced a new line of high-performance sanding discs. Available now, the new Hook and Loop discs are meant to be easy to use, reusable and deliver smooth, precision finishes.

The design of the hook-and-loop backing on the pads and discs allows for easy attachment and removal of the sanding disc. The sanding pad is compatible with most any popular brand and model of sanding power tool that accepts a M8-1.25 male stud.

The sanding discs are manufactured with a durable polyester waterproof fabric and silicon carbide grains. Sanding discs and pads come in 5 inch and 6 inch diameters. Five different grit options are available:
- 60X – an extra-rough disc for quick, general-purpose sanding
- 80X – rough grit for quick contouring
- 120X – a moderately fine grit for smooth seaming and polishing
- 220X – a fine grit for a very smooth, frosted finish
- 400X – an extra-fine grit to create impeccably smooth, frosted finishes
