FHC Frameless Hardware Company announced the continued expansion of its national service and distribution network with a new 80,000 square foot Class A distribution and super center in Lake Zurich, Illinois, scheduled to open in January 2027.

Located in the northern Chicago market, the new facility will become FHC’s sixth location and serve as a major Midwest hub, expanding the company’s ability to provide glaziers, fabricators and glass professionals throughout the region with the inventory, speed, service and technical support they need.

“FHC was built around a pretty simple idea: take care of the customer,” says Chris Hanstad, president and CEO of FHC.“As we’ve grown, we haven’t lost sight of why we’re growing. Glaziers and fabricators need partners who answer the phone, have the products they need, solve problems and understand that their time matters. Chicago gives us another major hub to deliver that experience closer and faster to customers throughout the Midwest.”

Bringing FHC service closer to the Midwest

The Lake Zurich Super Center will provide local inventory across FHC’s growing portfolio of architectural glass and glazing products, systems, hardware, tools and supplies. The facility will also strengthen regional distribution, reduce transit times and provide greater access to customer service and technical expertise.

“Our industry is built by people—glaziers, fabricators and installers who are under tremendous pressure to deliver,” says Hanstad. “They deserve suppliers who work with the same urgency they do. We believe great service should still mean something, and every new FHC location is another investment in delivering on that promise.”
