GGI (General Glass International) announced the promotion of Rocco Ficara to national sales manager of its Specialty Glass Division, effective June 1. The promotion aligns with the recent leadership transition for Gus Trupiano, who will continue to support GGI customers throughout the Southeast as an independent manufacturer representative.
Ficara's experience and new role
Ficara joined GGI in 2025 as product manager, where he supported the development and expansion of the company’s specialty glass portfolio. In his new role, he will lead the division's national sales efforts, working closely with customers, internal sales teams and independent representatives to drive continued growth.
Ficara brings more than 30 years of experience in the glass industry. His background includes product development, international sourcing, and collaboration across North American markets. He is fluent in French and Italian, which supports communication with global manufacturing partners as GGI continues to source specialty glass solutions internationally.
