Winco Window Co. Announces the Retirement of Jeff True

Winco Window Co. announced the retirement of one of its long-standing partners serving the Northeast region of the United States. Jeff True, who has been with Winco Window as an architectural sales representative for 37 years, is also the second-generation owner of True Enterprises Inc., headquartered in Old Saybrook, Connecticut.

“Winco has partnered with Jeff and his family’s business since 1984,” says Woody Miller, president of Winco Window Co. “He’s a wonderful industry leader with years of expertise. It will be tough to find someone with the knowledge and charisma to fill his shoes.”

True’s career and the company partnership

True began his career as an installer and later joined his father Bill True in 1989. After Bill’s retirement, True continued as the second-generation owner of the architectural window business. Through his work with Winco, he has been able to leverage his expertise of the many different types of Winco product offerings to guide his clients to solutions for their specific needs and design challenges.

True collaborated with many colleges and universities throughout New England, such as Brown University, Bryant University, MIT, Providence College, UCONN, UMASS, University of Rhode Island, University of Vermont, Yale University, and others to upgrade the windows on their historically significant buildings as well as their residential and academic buildings. Beyond historical window replacement projects, he worked with many municipalities throughout New England to provide windows for both new construction and renovation K-12 school projects. In total, Winco and True Enterprises, Inc. have partnered for more than 42 years.

Winco Window Company will now partner with Anthony “Tony” Kasprzak and his family business, Seawall Architectural Products for its Northeast territory.

What people are saying

“It has been an absolute honor for me and my family to represent the Winco Window Company,” says True. “They are truly a family company in all senses of the term. They care about their employees, representatives and customers. They always want and try to do the right thing for everyone. It’s in their DNA. I can’t express in words how blessed my family has been to have worked with Winco for the last 42 years.”

“Jeff will be truly missed,” says Miller. “The True family will always hold special memories for everyone at Winco. Their commitment to customers and architects in the region was unparalleled.”
