Huntsman, a manufacturer of thermoplastic polyurethane interlayer laminating solutions for the glazing industry, is returning to glasstec 2026 this October. The team will present products from the Huntsman KRYSTALFLEX TPU film portfolio and talk to customers about their needs as demand for safety and security glazing increases worldwide.
KRYSTALFLEX TPU films have been used as an adhesive interlayer in laminated glass for more than fifty years. These films are used to bond glass, polycarbonate and acrylic substrates together.
The Huntsman KRYSTALFLEX TPU range is used in impact and ballistic resistant panes, including transport, architecture and defense applications. KRYSTALFLEX TPU films are designed for safety glazing projects that require impact resistance alongside optical clarity and durability.
At glasstec, visitors to the Huntsman stand will be able to see the KRYSTALFLEX TPU portfolio and view examples of the film materials in real-world applications. Huntsman offers five KRYSTALFLEX TPU grades and will show items featuring its technology, including a police protection helmet visor.
