COOL-LITE SKN 175 II (to-be-tempered) joins the Saint-Gobain glass range. A selective, solar control glass with aesthetics, this product is developed to enable adaptability.

COOL-LITE SKN 175 II is designed for façades and glazing in commercial buildings. This product delivers solar control and provides a neutral aesthetic, combined with energy efficiency; helping to create buildings that perform, considering comfort, visual appeal and the sustainability of building glass throughout the complete building life cycle.

COOL-LITE SKN 175 II applications

COOL-LITE SKN 175 II forms part of the Saint-Gobain solar control and thermal insulation range, which in combination with other products can also offer:

  • Safety and security, when used in conjunction with products from the STADIP range

COOL-LITE SKN 175 II balances the advantages of a high performance neutral solar control product with:

  • High light transmission 70%
  • Low g-value of 0.35
  • U-value of 1.0W/m2K
  • High degree of neutrality

COOL-LITE SKN 175 II can be used to create more comfortable interiors by reducing overheating and the need for air conditioning, while also reducing excessive heat loss. The high light transmittance also reduces the requirement for interior lighting during daylight hours, helping reduce energy costs.
