About WEPs

The WEPs, established by the United Nations, aim to empower women to take part in every aspect of society and the economy in all industries and at all levels.

Sisecam's goals

As part of its sustainability strategy CareforNext, Sisecam prioritizes equality, diversity and inclusion in its value chain as part of its commitments under the pillar of "Empower Society." Sisecam says it adapts its factory standards to women in order to support their participation in the workforce in all areas of its operations. In addition, Sisecam aims to inspire women in managerial roles with mentoring activities and accelerate the improvement of women's effectiveness with training courses under its "Women Expression" program. Sisecam is committed to boosting the percentage of female employees at the company from 24.2% in 2023 to over 25% in a period of time.

As a signatory to the WEPs, Sisecam hopes to further emphasize the importance of gender equality for its entire ecosystem and use its resources to make a difference.
