TonyView is a structural corner window system that eliminates the traditional load-bearing post at building corners, replacing it with glass while still carrying the structural weight of the building above. Certified load ratings run from 19,000 to 26,000 pounds of vertical support, and the system can carry up to three floors of building load, which lets architects and homeowners open up corners without the cantilevered beams and complex engineering that corner glazing has historically required.
The system is built around a stainless steel structural frame with stainless fasteners, thermal breaks, and premium SIKA sealant, paired with laminated glass that has been hurricane-tested and delivers zero air and water infiltration. The unit is fully assembled and installed with 14 bolts, which makes it viable for both new construction and retrofits into existing framing. TonyView is also pursuing ICC-ES certification, alongside ongoing thermal, fire, and structural testing, and it carries a lifetime warranty on the frame and window assembly.
Applications span residential and commercial projects where architects want panoramic, post-free views, particularly alongside large sliding doors, to strengthen the visual connection between indoor and outdoor space. The inventor, a longtime contractor, installed the first unit in his own home alongside two sliding glass doors and found the corner created the sensation of standing inside a fully glass enclosure rather than a conventional room.
