Trump Administration to Reimpose 10 Percent Tariff on Canadian Aluminum Imports

The Trump Administration plans to reimpose Section 232 tariffs of 10 percent on imports of Canadian aluminum, according to Bloomberg News. Canada’s imports had received an exemption from the tariff, which the president plans to end on Aug. 16. The president cited a “flood” of aluminum imports to the U.S. as the reason for the change, according to reporting.
