Vetrotech Saint-Gobain Expands Production Capacity in North America

Vetrotech Saint-Gobain’s North American headquarters in Washington State increased its production footprint, consolidating production of its fire-rated glazing and framing systems into one building.

The move doubled the square footage of Vetrotech’s facility at 2108 B St. NW, Suite 110 in Auburn, Washington, while consolidating its framing production line into the same building.

“This expansion is in direct response to what we’re hearing from our customers,” says Kevin Norcross, general  manager of Vetrotech in North America. “COVID-19 has tested our entire industry, wreaking havoc on construction schedules. Our customers are balancing many moving deadlines as situations change seemingly daily around the country. Lots of glazing contractors’ lead times are shortening, requiring manufacturers like Vetrotech to be more nimble as a result.”

By increasing the facility footprint and consolidating production facilities, Vetrotech North America will be more responsive to customers with shorter lead times and increased production capacity, say officials.

“Now more than ever, our customers rely on Vetrotech’s promise of ‘No Compromise,’” says Norcross. “In an era of ‘business as unusual,’ we know that architects and glazing contractors need a partner they can depend on for high-quality fire-rated products, fast.”
