At Costco’s new 624,000-sq.-ft. Building 4 in Issaquah, WA, expansive glazing defines the open, collaborative environment. To meet code without sacrificing visibility, designers turned to Fireframes® Curtainwall Series and Fireframes® Designer Series full-lite doors with Pilkington Pyrostop® fire-rated glass. Installed on Levels 1 and 9 of each main stairwell, these assemblies provide up to 120 minutes of fire protection while preserving openness. The slim steel profiles match adjacent non-rated systems for seamless visual flow, enhancing sightlines and wayfinding.
