Smart Defect Control: The LineScanner Learns to See Glass Through Human Eyes
Not every defect a scanner finds is one a customer will ever see. With Smart Defect Control, Softsolution teaches the LineScanner to judge defects the way a quality inspector would. For each flaw, an AI-powered Visibility Score weighs size, optical contrast, position on the pane, and surrounding surface characteristics, then rates how likely a human observer is to notice it under normal viewing conditions. Instead of long lists of technically detectable but practically invisible marks, operators see the defects that matter. They set how strict that judgment is with a single dial and save the setting for each glass type, with consistent results across every shift and plant.
