Vitro Architectural Glass announced its second Vitro X Innovation Partnership with ClearShield Technologies LLC, continuing its new partnership program focused on identifying and developing solutions to existing and future challenges in the glass industry. Through this program, Vitro is partnering with companies as an early investor to support their work.
Vitro launched the program through a partnership with AERAS, an emerging technology company specializing in advanced drone applications that have the capacity to serve as an alternative to traditional commercial window and glass façade washing to support both building owners/operators and facility managers
About ClearShield
Ritec International Limited's ClearShield Glass Protection technology is a liquid solution for glass surface protection that can upgrade glass products and ensure their clarity, visibility and cleanliness over time.
ClearShield Glass Protection can be applied in any factory as well as to glass that has already been installed. In addition, existing glass that has been stained and discolored can be brought back to an 'as-new' appearance, say officials.
Glass fabricators across the globe use ClearShield Glass Protection in a range of applications, including architectural, solar, decorative, shower, marine and residential glass, according to the company. ClearShield is also independently proven to resist bacterial adhesion, which can be used in hospital projects such as operating rooms.
