Basco Shower Enclosures joined forces with Michigan-based Glassource, a tempered glass and shower door solutions provider. This strategic partnership expands Basco’s corporate footprint, providing broader regional services, and additional product offerings.
Furthermore, this acquisition increases Basco’s overall capacity with a total of three tempering and fabricating locations in Ohio, North Carolina, and now Michigan, providing services to the Eastern United States.
“The Glassource acquisition is a great fit for Basco as we are able to improve our speed-to-market capabilities and overall product portfolio,” says George Rohde, Basco’s chairman/CEO.
Jim Arnold, who will remain as president of Glassource, says, “Basco will bring the necessary resources and investments that will allow Glassource continued growth. Basco will enable us to expand our shower door business as the most comprehensive offering in the industry.”
Like Basco, Glassource is a family owned and operated company, founded 30 years ago. With over 100 employees and an impressive list of regional customers, the Glassource leadership team and brand will remain in place.
