Biesse Showcased Glass Processing Lineup, Sustainability Tools at glasstec 2026
Biesse presented a broad range of glass processing lines, machines and components at glasstec 2026, highlighting productivity, digitalization and sustainability.
The Italian manufacturer has consolidated its Forvet, Bavelloni and Intermac technologies under Biesse Machinery Glass, creating a single point of access for customers in the furniture, building and automotive industries. The portfolio on display included cutting tables and waterjet systems for monolithic and laminated glass, grinding and polishing systems, drilling, countersinking and milling equipment, and machining centers.
Biesse Technic, the company’s brand for integrated production lines, showed a compact, automated system for storing and cutting monolithic and laminated glass. The system incorporates several patented technologies and is designed for complex furniture and architectural glass applications.
On the sustainability front, Biesse highlighted systems that manage and recover glass offcuts so manufacturers can return residual pieces to production, along with tools that monitor energy consumption in real time during machining. Its Diamut tooling brand now uses a cobalt-free bond across its entire product range. The tools are made with lower-impact metal powders, contain no hazardous materials and simplify waste handling and disposal. They are compatible with Biesse’s full machine portfolio.
The company also introduced B/On, a digital ecosystem that connects machines, people, processes and data on a single manufacturing platform. Biesse said it would roll out B/On gradually over the coming months.
A dedicated Customer Care area at the stand featured services supporting customers throughout a machine’s life cycle, backed by a global network of service teams and centers.
