Glass industry veteran Donald Edward Haley passed away on September 5, 2025.
Haley began his career in the curtain wall, glass and glazing business in 1950 with Binswanger Glass for five years and then moved to Oakcliff Mirror & Glass. After a long tenure with Oakcliff, Haley founded Haley-Greer, Inc. in 1979 with Jim Greer.
Haley has been a leader and mentor in the glass industry for years and grew Haley-Greer into a premier curtain wall specialty contractor in the United States, focusing mainly in Texas. Some of Haley's most proud projects Haley-Greer completed were Enron, Pier One, Houston Convention Center, Frost Bank Austin, Winspear Opera House, AT&T Stadium and Globe Life.
Donald was preceded in death by his mother and father; his brother, Dr. Jack Haley; brother, Joe Haley, Peggy Haley; wife, Diane Haley; son, Rocky Haley; and many other friends and family members.
Donald is survived by his daughter, Letitia Barker; son, Lenis Haley; son, Robert Haley and his wife Angela; daughter, Audrey Haley; his granddaughters, Michelle Outlaw and her wife Markelle, Lily and Laney Haley; his great-grandson, James Outlaw; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday September 25th at Restland Funeral Home in the Memorial Chapel in Dallas, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Union Gospel Mission at ugmdallas.org.
