LiteSentry, the global leader in optical stress analysis, has redesigned the operator experience of its Osprey®25 inline inspection system. The most visible change is a new horizontal monitor layout, replacing the previous vertical arrangement. Operators now see distortion, anisotropy, surface quality, and statistical results side by side, without switching between screens.
The Osprey®25 measures optical distortion and anisotropy simultaneously, covering 100 percent of every lite edge to edge in real time. Installed at the furnace exit, it has set the industry benchmark for decades.
Two innovations are in development: a new cleaning solution to reduce manual maintenance, and compact reports with a clearer layout for faster, easier quality documentation.
“The Osprey®25 stands for precision, reliability, and industry-proven technology for decades. Now it’s simpler to use, and just as precise,” said Peter Pfannenstill, Vice President Sales and Marketing, Softsolution, LiteSentry.
