Saint-Gobain plans to invest in its Bhawadi plant, located in the state of Rajasthan in India. Saint-Gobain Group chairman B. Santhanan made the proposal in a meeting with Ashok Gehlot, chief minister of Rajasthan, and other senior officials, as reported in the Times of India. The new investment will expand the plant’s float line, making it the largest in Asia, according to the company, and create 300 jobs.
