Andrea Frenzel Appointed to SCHOTT AG Board of Management

Andrea FranzelSCHOTT AG appointed Andrea Frenzel as its newest member to the SCHOTT AG Board of Management, where she will be responsible for three business units and two overarching corporate functions in her new position on the board. She succeeds Hermann Ditz who is retiring.

"We are pleased to have Dr. Frenzel, a successful, internationally experienced manager, join our company," says Dr. Bolle, chairman of the Supervisory Board of SCHOTT AG. "Mr. Ditz has performed outstanding work for SCHOTT. We thank him for his many years of successful commitment and wish him all the best for his retirement," adds Bolle.

About Andrea Frenzel

Frenzel is currently president of the Intermediates Operating Division at BASF SE in Ludwigshafen, a role that she has held since 2018. She began her professional career in 1997 at BASF AG. She held several positions at BASF, including vice president, Business Management Pigments North America for the BASF Corporation. She studied chemistry at the University of Göttingen, where she received her diploma and afterwards received her Doctorate Degree in Inorganic Chemistry in 1995.
