Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope, Inc. (OBE) is one of many companies to contribute to the building of Legacy Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, through in-kind products, services and expertise. The new facility replaces Robb Elementary and stands as a symbol of the community’s resilience and vision for the future.

The new campus features a variety of products engineered to enhance the school’s security. OBE collaborated with Huckabee Architects, a MOREgroup brand, to meet the requirements for new design solutions that transparently secure openings and maximize forced-entry resistance. The vision of the architect and the community resulted in a holistic, integrated approach to safety that preserves a welcoming learning environment.

What OBE leadership says

“The process of partnering with the many people and organizations contributing to the efforts to build Legacy Elementary has resulted in a design that delivers a safe, healing learning environment, honoring both local legacy and the future of its students and staff,” says Mark Adamson, CEO, Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope. “This collaboration has set the benchmark for future approaches to safety and security design in educational facilities.”
