Skyline has debuted its latest collaboration with New York designer Jill Malek at NeoCon 2025. Murals on Glass brings five of Malek’s large-scale abstractions of the natural world to the clean, durable substrate of glass.
About Malek's work
Known for bespoke dimensional wallcovering and unique textiles, Malek’s designs are intended to soften the built environment with the sensitivity of nature. This and her new glass collection reflects research linking nature-based visuals to improved mood, attention, and emotional regulation, making Murals on Glass especially suited for human-centered spaces that prioritize neuroinclusive design.
The collaboration
Murals enacted on architectural glass is not an easy production feat. In Skyline’s studio, each glass panel is fabricated with extremely tight registration, enabling the mural to continuously stretch across multiple panels. Designers can also play with the level of translucency, from transparent uses such as partitions, to obscured for meeting rooms, to full opaque for wall cladding for uses such as elevator bays. Murals on Glass is available made to order in glass panels up to 72 inches by 144 inches.
What people are saying
“I am so excited to continue my collaboration with Skyline and offer some of my most popular mural designs as glass solutions.” Jill Malek said in a recent interview, “This collection will be a beautiful intersection of color palettes inspired by dawn and dusk, translucent light, and soft patterning on large scale glass.”
“Jill’s work has a rhythm to it—it moves, it breathes.” said Darcie Tashey, Design Director for Skyline. “In glass, that rhythm interacts with light and space in new ways, adding another layer to how her designs can shape the built environment.”
