Crystal Windows Enhances Website with Project Locator Tool

Crystal

Crystal Window & Door Systems has launched a new project mapping tool on its website that shows the location, scope and details of projects it has supplied nationwide.

The interactive tool lets customers and website visitors view the location, details and images of projects across the country.

"Crystal has always presented its projects in visual ways, sharing photographs and details behind the projects through customer newsletters, social media and news releases," says Steve Chen, CEO. "Now we've added another way for customers to see our product line used in buildings across the country."

The project locator tool opens on the website's Projects page, showing the continental United States and clusters of projects. Zooming in on a cluster or location reveals individual projects. Clicking a project pin opens images and details on the products and quantities supplied, with links to webpages for those products. Currently, only projects supplied in the last two years are mapped, but the company plans to add past projects in major markets.

"We're planning additional functions for this tool," says Mason Wang, Crystal's director of IT. "For example, visitors will be able to filter projects by window and door material type, and by building category. Design and fenestration professionals can compare projects similar to the ones they're planning."

"This tool provides a visual summary of Crystal's experience and capabilities," says Chen. "We want architects, developers, builders, fenestration trade customers, and home and building owners to see that Crystal has products for projects of any type or size."
