General Glass International (GGI) announced two promotions and a new hire. Muhammad Arif has been promoted to director of project management and office operations, Herschel Jordan has been promoted to product manager and Carl Laroco has been hired as a business development associate.
Arif's experience
With a strong background in mechanical engineering and business management combined with 20 years’ experience working with GGI in a variety of roles, Arif is a proven team leader and team builder. In his new role, Arif is responsible for the cross-functional management of multiple departments, including the decorative glass products and glass door division.
Jordan's experience
Jordan is a testimonial to the company’s focus on employee development and promoting internally, as Jordan joined the company in a production capacity and advanced quickly to estimating and project management. As product manager, he will support the advancement of existing fabricated product solutions and the development of new value-added solutions.
Laroco's experience
Laroco's experience in construction engineering technologies combined with his experience and knowledge working with GGI previously in estimating and project management positions him to excel in this newly created position. In his role as business development associate, Laroco will collaborate closely with internal team members and customers alike. His primary focus will be to identify opportunities for improvements and new value-added initiatives, particularly in the realms of engineered glass systems, digital printing and other custom fabricated solutions.
