Glassopolis Welcomes Bruce Cooke as Vice President of Sales

Glassopolis hired Bruce Cooke to the position of vice president, sales, to oversee sales of the company’s fire-rated glazing, radiation shielding and technical architectural glass products.

“Bruce knows this business really well, and he knows how to build solid relationships with clients," says Jordan Richards, president of Glassopolis. “His insights and experience give our customers the confidence that they’ve got someone they can count on when it comes to sourcing specialty glass.”

Cooke brings considerable knowledge and experience to the role. He was recently responsible for sales and marketing at Saand, a major glass fabricator with over $100 million in sales. Prior to that, Cooke was regional sales manager for Guardian Industries and has held management and sales positions at Oldcastle Glass, Barber Glass and AFGD. 

“I’m joining Glassopolis at an exciting time,” Cooke says. “The company has been growing rapidly as the use of fire, safety and security glazing becomes more widespread. Schools and institutions want ever safer buildings for their occupants and fire-rated and safety glazing plays a big part in that.”
