The sector is eagerly anticipating the staging of glasstec 2022, International Trade Fair for Glass Production, Processing and Products, as demonstrated by the statements from the industry with the motto “back again at last,” according to organizers for the show.
In a release this week, glasstec 2022 officials released the new Let´s Go Live Trailer to help exhibitors and visitors look forward to the expo, to be held from September 20-23, 2022 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.
“The coming year will be a very special one for everyone working with the fascinating and versatile material glass. The year 2022 has been declared the International Year of Glass (IYOG 2022) by the General Assembly of the United Nations. With worldwide activities and events, the significance of the polyvalent material for society and our lives will be highlighted. An important part will be glasstec, the world's largest event for the glass industry,” according to glasstec officials.
Online exhibitor registration open
Companies from the fields of mechanical engineering, industry and the skilled trades can register online for glasstec 2022 at www.glasstec-online.com/2330. glasstec 2018 and glasstec VIRTUAL exhibitors have access to pre-filled forms which can be edited. Exhibitor placement in the halls will begin on December 1, 2021. Trend topics for 2022
glasstec is a marketplace, trendsetter, innovation and information platform for the global glass industry. In addition to the wide range of the exhibitors on the topics of glass manufacturing/production technology, glass processing and finishing as well as the numerous glass products and applications, glasstec 2022 will again offer a unique and extensive ancillary program of practical and scientific events. The first event with a view to the upcoming glasstec will take place Nov. 25 and 26. The “glasstec-update” International glasstec conference will focus on “Carbon neutrality with glass.” The first day will be dedicated to the industry. Future models for CO2 and climate-neutral glass production as well as technologies and roadmaps for achieving these goals will be presented and discussed. On the second day, architects, scientists and glass manufacturers will present which construction methods, innovations and products can support the way towards a climate-neutral society. THE HUB: glass technology live
At glasstec 2018, the university network of the four technical universities Darmstadt, Delft, Dortmund and Dresden provided fresh ideas at the special show glass technology live, or gtl. The special show demonstrates the concentrated innovative power of the industry and will again be an important part of glasstec 2022. In order to further increase the anticipation for the upcoming glass technology live, a video interview series will be published this year and next year.
