Guardian Glass Europe Installs Emissions Control System in Luxembourg

Guardian Glass Europe installed a new emissions control system at its float glass plant in Dudelange, Luxembourg. The new system is designed to reduce emissions from the float glass process, specifically NOx, SOx and dust emissions.

The company inaugurated the control system with an event that included Carole Dieschbourg, Luxembourg’s minister of the environment, and Dan Biancalana, mayor of Dudelange, as well as Guus Boekhoudt, vice president of Guardian Glass Europe.

The control system was installed four months ago to meet the Luxembourgish Environment Agency’s new limits and to comply with the EU Industrial Emission directive. Guardian installed a similar system at its Bascharage plant in 2013.
