Organizers Cancel Glass TEXpo
Glass TEXpo ’20 has been cancelled due concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. The event was scheduled to be held May 1-2 in San Antonio. The decision was announced on the organizers’ webpage, with the following statement:
First and most importantly, we hope you, your family and your colleagues are well and far from the COVID-19 virus. What an unfortunate set of circumstances has occurred in such a short time to affect all of our lives and businesses.
Glass TEXpo ’20 scheduled for May 1-2 has been cancelled due to the current worldwide health emergency. We had hoped to be able to couple this announcement with a solution, such as new dates for the show, but that is not yet possible. Our venues and vendors in San Antonio are so overwhelmed right now dealing with events that were scheduled for this week and next that we decided to allow them to complete their immediate tasks first. We will be back to you as soon as possible with updated information.
Thank you for your patience and understanding and please stay safe and healthy—that’s the number one priority. These are trying times for all of us and for our businesses but please have confidence that we will get through them. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us and thanks for your understanding.
