Salem Fabrication Technologies Group Inc. (Salem FTG), formerly Salem Distributing Company, Inc., made changes in ranks along with its recent rebrand and restructure. Mike Willard, CEO of Salem FTG, announced that Dan Reinhart has been named as president of Salem Fabrication Supplies, the newly integrated tooling and supplies division previously comprised of four separate industry divisions.

Reinhart, since 2011, held the position of vice president of sales and marketing for Salem overseeing all divisions. He is 21-year veteran of the glass industry working in both the residential and commercial markets and possesses an overall 29 years of experience in the building products arena. During this time, he was involved with both capital equipment sales as well as managing sales and marketing departments.

Reinhart is a great believer in the sales training process and is committed to professionalism in the sales role. “I believe it is important to help salespeople learn and improve their selling techniques, skills, and processes and I will continue to promote this in my new position,” says Reinhart. “Building on characteristics and habits that improve the ability of salespeople to communicate and build rapport with prospects and customers is fundamental to Salem FTG’s core values.”

“It is a pleasure to see Dan’s growth since he joined Salem in his position as vice president of sales and marketing,” says Willard.  “He is committed to offering quality products and excellent customer service and has, over these years, developed many solid industry association partnerships which will continue to serve Salem FTG well.  I am proud to have Dan leading Salem Fabrication Supplies and look forward to an exciting and prosperous future for our employee-owners, partners and customers.”

Company officials also announced the promotion of Ashley Price to Eastern region sales director for Salem Fabrication Supplies. He and his team will cover the entire U.S. East Coast and eastern Canada.

Price most recently held the position of director of diamond tooling with Salem and has been with the company for nearly 11 years. He has over 20 years of experience in the glass and stone fabrication industries working as a CNC technician and tooling specialist with both U.S. companies and Italian machinery manufacturers.

President of Salem Fabrication Supplies, Reinhart, says: “Ashley’s notable performance in diamond tooling sales has been of significant importance to Salem and his excellent record of providing innovative solutions and problem solving, will serve him well in this new role. The quality of dedication and focus on customer relationships that he represents is very important for the company’s long-term success. I know Ashley has the ability to lead his team to achieve the highest standards our customers have come to expect from Salem.”

“As a tooling specialist before coming to Salem, I was exposed to a variety of different industries, products, and processes. The journey brought me to Salem in 2010 and changed my viewpoint on becoming a better co-worker, team member and manager,” said Price. “I take pride in being an employee owner and have a continuous desire to educate our sales staff and customers to better prepare them for new-aged products and processes. I look forward to the challenge of rallying my new team toward a better future by helping them to excel in their own unique ways to achieve success.”
