According to Guelph Today, Xinyi Glass Canada Ltd., the float glass company planning to build a $450-million factory in Guelph-Eramosa, Ontario, Canada, invited local residents to an information session prior to the start of construction. They viewed a presentation about the 2-million square foot facility, Xinyi’s first North American factory, which is expected to bring 400 jobs. Concerns voiced during the question-and-answer session included the facility’s effect on the water supply and its influence on traffic.
