2026 Glass Magazine Awards
Honoring the projects, products and personnel that shape the built environment
This year’s Glass Magazine Awards winners are prime examples of what is possible within the glass industry. Winning projects and products feature thought-provoking design, colorful decoration as well as protective performance, exemplifying the wide spectrum of glass innovation.
To better recognize glass’s unique qualities as a building product, and its unique contributions to the built environment, this year’s competition also included a new category: “Architect’s Choice.” A panel of judges, all architects, had the opportunity to select their superlative project from among 77 project nominations.
“I am proud to be in my second decade of judging the awards program. I have seen many exciting entries, in my tenure, reflecting changes in the design industry,” says Architects’ Choice judge John R. Stephenson, senior architect, BRPH. “This year’s entries are no exception. They reflect possibilities of glass in the building envelope, and the creativity and technical sophistication of the designer’s vision as well as the products available to us. It’s this apparent dedication to our craft that keeps pushing us forward to a greater built environment.”
This year’s winning projects and products demonstrate how crucial glass is to the built environment. Several projects demonstrate glass’s critical role in updating existing infrastructure to preserve historic structures, maintain skylines and increase building performance.
Glass Magazine recognizes that it’s glass industry professionals that make the standout projects and products recognized in this program happen. To that end, this year’s competition also added the “Legacy Leadership Award,” a new category that shines a light on individuals who make this industry so exemplary. Those nominated for this award are glass industry veterans whose work, leadership and expertise have helped to shape the glass industry.
Glass Magazine’s editorial staff thanks all the companies that took the time to complete a nomination form.
