Best Innovation for the Factory | FeneVision Tracking — Web-Native Mobile App

Nominating company: Cyncly

product tracking app

FeneVision Tracking by Cyncly has been rebuilt as a browser-based Progressive Web Application that removes the limitations of legacy handheld scanners and terminal server sessions. Operators can access tracking from a smartphone, tablet, or desktop by opening a URL, with no RDP, VPN, or device specific installation. The 2026.1 release delivers mobile ready workflows for container handling and essential accept and reject actions. Station setup and configuration are handled directly inside the application.

FeneVision Tracking provides scanning, traceability, and work-in-process visibility that window, door, and glass manufacturers rely on during production. The app runs in any modern browser and can be installed on iOS, Android, or Windows without the overhead of app stores or specialized hardware. It includes five modes: Accept, Reject, Container, Plant Location, and Inquiry. Operators can scan manufactured and non-manufactured items, containers, and plant locations.

Traditional tracking workflows depend on specialized handheld devices, registry-based station settings and RDP sessions tied to terminal servers. Adding or relocating a scan point requires new hardware, provisioning and IT involvement. These constraints can slow down production changes and limit ability to broaden tracking coverage across the factory. Manufacturers can also face onboarding challenges as new employees must learn outdated device workflows and navigate RDP access. The web native Tracking application removes these barriers.
