The Glass Guru is opening The Glass Guru of West Portland, Oregon, locally owned and operated by father-and-son team Joe and Tom Ruble.
Opening the business fulfills a goal the two have discussed for more than a decade: building something meaningful together that would allow them to serve their community, create a lasting family legacy and take greater control of their future.
The Glass Guru of West Portland provides professional glass repair, replacement and installation solutions for homes and businesses. Its services include window glass replacement, foggy window restoration, shower enclosures, mirrors, screens and a variety of custom glass solutions.
“We wanted to build a business that reflects the values we share as a family—integrity, hard work and treating people the right way,” says Tom Ruble. “The Glass Guru gives us the opportunity to solve real problems for our customers while becoming a trusted resource in the community I’m proud to call home.”
Tom leads the company’s daily operations and works directly with customers, while Joe provides strategic leadership and business support behind the scenes. Together, they bring decades of professional and leadership experience to the new West Portland location.
Their experience
Before joining The Glass Guru, Tom spent nearly 10 years in SaaS compliance sales, helping Fortune 1000 companies make responsible and ethical business decisions.
Joe brings more than 40 years of leadership experience in the technology and media industries.
